For nearly 20 years, thousands of patients have trusted Dr. Carlson with their eyes. He is a Mayo Clinic trained and board-certified ophthamologist. Dr. Carlson was among the first to work in laser vision correction, having begun before the opening of today’s mega-surgery centers. He is one of the most highly-experienced vision correction specialists in the region. Thousands of pairs of Minnesota eyes see better today because of his work.
Dr. Carlson holds a long list of certifications, including LASIK, LASEK, VISX, Custom Wavefront Laser Vision Correction, and small incision multi-focal intraocular lens surgery with ReSTOR and ReZoom IOLs.

Marti received her degree from the University of Minnesota. She is a Certified Ophthalmic Medical Technologist with over 20 years of experience, much of it advanced.
Marti has been working with Dr. Carlson for over 13 years. Like the entire Claris team, Marti has a sincere desire to understand your vision needs and to address any fears that you may have related to eye procedures. She has the experience to address all of your questions with care and comfort.

As a former owner and business manager at Minnesota Men’s Health Center, P.A., Cheryl has hands-on experience operating a specialty medical practice emphasizing excellence in customer service and high-quality patient care. She has more than 10 years of overall healthcare experience.
Cheryl is a graduate of the College of Saint Benedict where she received her degree in accounting.

Rachel received her degree in Child and Family Studies and Health Education from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota.
